You don’t have to shut your vent every time it rains. The MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover lets you open and run your vent or fan in any weather. Its angled louvers let smoke, heat, and odors escape while keeping rain and debris out. The cover has a vent area twice the size of standard covers, giving you more airflow through your roof vent and better cross-ventilation.
Built from durable, high-density polyethylene, this cover stands up to UV rays, hail, and falling branches. The UV-resistant black finish helps protect your roof vent from weathering and cracking over time, so it stays solid through years of use.
Installing the cover on 2015 and newer MaxxFan or MaxxFan Plus roof vents is simple—no drilling needed. The EZClip pins slide through the integrated mounting tabs and rotate up to lock the cover in place. For older or other standard 14" x 14" vents, the included hardware makes it easy to mount using stainless steel screws, nuts, and washers.
When it’s time for cleaning or maintenance, you can pull out the EZClip pins from one side to turn the opposite side into a hinge. That gives you full access to your vent without having to remove the entire cover. Slide the pins back in to lock it closed when you’re done.
The solid black color blocks light from coming through, keeping things darker inside. It also gives the vent a clean, low-profile look that pairs well with modern rooflines.

Cool! The install looks great, Carlos. If this were my my RV, I'd certainly be a "fan" too. :)
Needed this to cover the vent in our horse trailers living quarters. Now we can keep it open, and the rain cannot get in. On those days at a show where I do not run the generator. Plus, when it is sitting will help the heat to escape. Husband was able to put this on with ease. Very happy with how fast it was delivered. It fit perfect.

My UPS driver dropped it off and chatted shortly, All the necessary brackets, screws and pins were provided, took less than 15 minutes to replace. Can’t get much simpler to install.

Very easy install & perfect fit! Installed two in about 30 minutes and it only took that long because I had to cut away some roof sealant that was lathered over two of the clips. Fan covers open about 2/3 of the way so no problem there. Love that it blocks the sun from beating through my opaque fan covers-- in AZ that can really be intense.
